Preparing for Camp

With Dance Camp just around the corner, I wanted to work with the girls on TEAMWORK and working as a team during this stressful weekend. I would like to give credit to pom coach Amy Crow, from Valley Vista HS for inspiring this idea!

First, the girls brought in one quote that talked about team work and from there, they would come together, read the quotes and highlight words that stood out to them. Then as a team they would choose only 8 words (one per team member) that represented teamwork to them. They then wrote the words on a poster which they signed as an agreement to continue to work as a team and to be a team in the moments that they feel alone, tired or struggling with anything, not only at camp but throughout the entire year.

I am really excited for the to go through this experience together.
