Tolleson Heat
2019-2020
Tolleson Heat Elite Dance Team is the official competitive Varsity Dance Team of Tolleson Union High School and the Elite Performance Group of the Tolleson Advanced Performance Ensemble.
Tolleson Heat was established in August 2013 and performs jazz, modern, hip-hop, and contemporary dance in the local community and at the state and national levels. Heat Dancers are students selected through an audition process each April for the coming school-year. Heat Dancers are required to maintain a 2.5 GPA throughout the school year and are expected to be ambassadors of excellence both on and off-campus.
2019-20 Tolleson Heat is led by President Dominique Cabrera and Vice President Alicia Casillas; both dancers are returning Heat members who have been part of the program for all four years of their high school careers and third year dancers on Tolleson Heat.
We are striving to qualify for the National Dance Team Championship in Orlando, Florida for the fifth year in a row!
